12:03 a.m. - 2007-04-30 Tuesday afternoon, at some point after finishing my last class of the day at noon, my college had a bomb threat. After noon, several people found printed messages tacked onto bulletin boards in several buildings. Someone had even called the campus police saying bombs were going to go off Wednesday and Thursday. So of course classes were cancelled Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. Fortunately after police, trained dogs, and bomb technicians searched all the buiuldings throughout the night, nothing was found so classes (albeit optional) were back in session Thursday. But you know the thing that bugged me the most? How unserious some people took it. How in the world can you love a bomb threat? Someone explain that one to me. How can you love something where, if something does happen, people get hurt or die?
