In These Sad Times, We've All Become Hokies. All Those Involved, The Rest Of Us And Our Hearts Go Out To You
It's been two days since the Viriginia Tech massacre. And, needless to say, with this sad event, all of us became Hokies in our efforts in praying for those affected.

On Facebook, countless groups have sprung up in honor of those lost to the psychotic killer. Even at my college people have offered prayers and joined the groups I just mentioned.

It's really sad, isn't it? 33 people, all dead because of this one man. Like I wrote on my Xanga (My Xanga), the guy seems like he was really messed up. According to the stuff on Fox News, a story he wrote for his creative writing class was so disturbing, the teacher made him go talk to a counselor.

I feel sorry for all those people lost. I just hope they're all in a better place and will be happy for eternity now. Can you imagine all the parents having to wait to find out if your son or daughter was among those killed? Just awful.

I live in Mississippi, one time zone before the zone where Virginia is. When this happened at 9 a.m. for them, I was just arriving at my college to take care of some business. It makes me feel weird thinking that at the same time, dozens of people were in the process of losing their lives, you know?
It makes you realize just how precious life can be, for as long as God wants us down here. I mean, I bet none of the people that got killed went to bed the night before thinking that the following day would their last day alive.
