1:21 p.m. - 2007-02-04 I'm taking 12 hours again this semester. This semester I'm taking: 1) Quantitive Methods of Social Science I actually just had my very first two tests of the semester (in Criminal Theory and Astronomy) Thursday. I couldn't believe how easy they were! Though I guess studying since the Thursday before helped. The only way the Astronomy test could have been easier was if the professor (who is from Poland) had taken the test for us. I've actually been thinking about talking to my parents about me taking some time off from college after this semester. Hopefully apply at the police department and get a job working there, and then strike out on my own. Then I'd completely pay my own way in college too. I still haven't given up my dream of being a novelist one day. I've had these two nightmares recently that I'm going to try to turn into stories. Speaking of writing, I was reading something about Stephen King not too long ago. According to it, he actually abandoned writing "Carrie" halfway through and threw it away. It just so happens that his wife found it, read it, and talked him into finishing and sending it to the publisher. He ended up getting paid $200,000 for it. I thought that was a "wow" moment, considering how he almost through it away and his career might be different if not for that book. But you know what else is sad about the book though? The book was actually inspired by a girl Stephen King went to high school went. She was basically "outcasted" and everyone always really made fun of her. After she grew up and had kids, she actually ended up killing herself. I thought that was really sad.
