Happy Birthday America
Well today is the 4th. I don't really have any plans though. I'll probably go with my parents tonight to Greenville to see the fireworks. Other than that, today will be really nothing different. My sister and two nieces (my oldest niece that I used to mention is 7 years old now--at least she will be in a little over a week) just got here a few minutes ago.
I was reading the entry Resa posted last night in her Live Journal. She said she now hates this holiday because of what's been happening lately. A few days ago, her and her sister were going home from South Haven and passed by an car accident. It turns out the guy on the motorcycle was a DJ and he and his wife were on their anniversary. Sadly he was killed. She wrote in her LJ last night a picture of her car and apparently she had a wreck too as the front of it was really dented in. I'm glad she's okay though.
I've been spending a lot of time on the treadmill since the first. I'm trying to both lose weight and get into shape. I need to be in best shape as possible for when I have to go to the police academy. Two physical requirements are like I'll have to run a mile and a half and do 56 pushups.
I'm watching the COPS marathon on FX right now too.
