Full Circle...
Well, it's been several months since my last entry on here. You know the drill. But, I felt the need to update on here tonight. I wanted to post tonight just for old times' sake out of a reason.
Back in the day, like waaay back in the day of when I first joined, remember a girl I used to write about? This was way back when I was a freshman and sophomore in high school (all eight years ago). I used to have a thing for the girl, but unfortunately by the time she became available, it was too late. This particular girl was actually the one that got me to sign up on Diaryland (and in essence, got me started in my seven year long blogging journey). As you probably don't remember, this girl ended up moving out of state. We talked for a while on AIM but eventually I started hearing less and less from her. One day two years ago though, she added me on Facebook.
But anyway, my point...
Last weekend, this girl got married. Yep, she's now a married woman. But you know, I'm happy for her. And for the guy who very eerily looks like guy I was very good friends with for three years in college too.
You know, one of my friends who knew us in high school once said that he believed that if this girl hadn't moved, she would have gone out with me. And you know, I can't help but to wonder. If that one event--her moving--had been different....
Would we be married instead?
Ever since I found out, I've wondered that. Who knows. In some parallel universe out there, that's just the case.
